Cause	Remedy
Malfunction when opening the glove compartment lid.	Open glove compartment lid with shop-made tool (hook) without destroying it, for this purpose: ↓	WF58.50-P-6810-04A
	1 Remove air nozzle for front passenger compartment door on instrument panel.
	2 Guide hook (2) over free space behind instrument panel to glove compartment lock (figure 1) and open lock by rotating motion (arrow) (figure 2). If necessary shine a flashlight inside the instrument panel.
	3 Remove glove compartment.	AR68.10-P-1400M
	4 Eliminate cause of malfunction when opening glove compartment lid.
	5 Install in reverse sequence.
