Upshift and downshift in selector lever position "D"
- Transmission starts in 1st gear and coasts in 1st gear.
- Shifting points are set higher when driving up or down hill, for heavy loaded vehicles and extremely high transmission oil temperatures as well as when the accelerator pedal is released quickly or when driving in a sporting manner.
Downshift at full throttle in selector lever position "D" (from gear 5 → 4 and 4 → 3 only)
- If the accelerator is pressed quickly the downshift will occur at a higher speed.
Downshift at kickdown in selector lever position "D"
- The shift point can be reduced if the transmission oil temperature is < 40°C.
