- Turn rack-and-pinion steering to center position so that the scribe mark on the cap aligns with the scribe mark on the control valve housing (3, arrow).
- Push steering coupling onto splines of control valve so that the clamping groove (1, arrow) on the steering coupling lines up with the marking line (2, arrow) on the cap.
