6			The activation of the activated charcoal canister shutoff valve is tested for line interruption and short circuit (to ground or battery voltage). Short circuit to ground and line interruption is determined with a blocked output stage, whereas short circuit to battery voltage is determined with a conducting output stage. In the event of faults, the output stage is immediately no longer activated.
