| 7 | Test sequence | After every shift operation, the shifting pressure is slowly reduced. If power links grind when pressure is being reduced, the command valve sticks in the pressure position. Grinding power links are detected from the respective gear ratio. |
| 8 | The gear ratios are calculated from the following variables: speed signal n2, speed signal n3 and output shaft rotational speed (determined via rear wheel speed). Faults are detected by the ETC control module and sent via the CAN data bus to the ME-SFI control module. The faults are stored and the malfunction indicator lamp is activated by the ME-SFI control module. Also read out ETC diagnostic trouble code memory, fault codes 51, 52. |
