- Clamp blade
into multicutter 
and sharpen both sides of blade with a whetstone.
Ensure that the air supply is switched off when inserting the blade. Wear eye protection when cutting out windshield.
If windshield is reused, cut it out carefully in order to avoid damaging the bonded windshield trim strip.
- Cut out windshield in the areas "A" and "B" from the inside.
- Attach windshield at the top with a piece of tape in order to hold the windshield tight when cutting the remaining adhesive.
- Cut out windshield in the area "C" with cutting wire.
An old microfilm or similar can be used to protect the instrument panel when cutting out the windshield at the bottom with the cutting wire.
