The left rear power window switch, rear center console (S21 /15s1) actuates the left rear power window motor (M10/5) and the right rear power window switch, rear center console (S21/15s2) actuates the right rear power window motor (M10/6)

The switches are designed as pole reversal switches. This allows the polarity of the power to the motors to be varied (depending on operating direction)

In the non-actuated state both motor connections each are connected to the center console switch assembly (S21) via the switch contacts so that the rear power windows can also be operated from the front.
