Opening/closing windows in rear doors, function - GF72.29-P-2001GH

MODEL 163 up to 31.8.01 

Function 

The power windows in the rear doors are actuated with the power window switches in the center console switch assembly (S21) rear center console power window switch combination (S21/15)  :

• Right rear window 

  When actuating the left rear power window switch (S21s3)  or left rear power window switch, rear center console (S21/15s1)  the power window motor (M10/5)  is actuated. The window opens and closes.

• Right rear window 

  When actuating the right rear power window switch (S21s4) or right rear power window switch, 

• rear center console (S21/15s2) the power window motor (M10/6)  is actuated. The window opens and closes.

Only the manual up/down feature  is available for the power windows in the rear doors.

If the convenience relay (F1k14)  is switched on (e.g. front door open), circuit 30 is connected to the motor in question when the switch is pressed.

Child protection 

The left rear power window switch (S21/15s1) and right rear power window switch (S21/15s2) in the rear center console can be disabled  .
