IMPORTANT   Observe multimeter limit for current tests. When the central locking system operates, a current of approx. 20 A flows.   
1 G1 MULTIMETERMULTIMETER DIRECT CURRENT TYPE OF MEASUREMENT W10/W16/4 Lock vehicle.
Wait approx. 4 minutes (after-run time for electronic components)
Model 163: If engine temperature is < 100°C, wait for approx. 5 minutes; if engine temp. is>100°C, wait approx. 10 minutes.
Displayed value ≥ 0.05 A, or ≥ 0.085 A  (vehicles with immobilizer) Specified value reached: Carry out test step 2.
      IMPORTANT Do not activate any other consumers during the test. If other consumers are activated, wait another 4 minutes (after-run time).
2 G1 MULTIMETERMULTIMETER DIRECT CURRENT TYPE OF MEASUREMENT W10/W16/4 Unlock vehicle. Wait approx. 4 minutes (after-run time for electronic components)
Model 163: If engine temperature is < 100°C, wait for approx. 5 minutes; if engine temp. is>100°C, wait approx. 10 minutes.
