The GPS antenna can be installed on the roof or on the rear shelf.

Rear shelf 

The reception characteristics of the GPS antenna are limited  .

This means that vehicles coming out of a non-digitalized area e.g. underground parking facilities, require longer to for the guidance feature to start working!

Roof 

The reception characteristics for the GPS antenna are not limited  .

Coordinate the installation position with the customer (vehicle owner).

Install the GPS antenna on the rear shelf only  in exceptional cases  .

Exceptional case:  Customer makes purchasing decision dependent on the appearance. In all cases advise the customer of the disadvantages of installation on the rear shelf (customer satisfaction).
