Pressing out and installing follower joint at steering knuckle - AR33.20-P-0500-01D

Replace self-locking nut 

Wheel location, wheel hub

Pressing out 

1. Unscrew self-locking nut from follower joint (8).
2. Mount thrust piece (043a).
3. Using puller (043), press follower joint (8) out of steering knuckle.
4. Detach puller and thrust piece.

Installation 

5. Clean tapered connection.
6. Replace and tighten self-locking nut.
