Parktronic system (PTS) notes on HHT advanced information, diagnosis - AD54.65-P-2000-02A

Notes on reading out fault memory:

1. Connect Hand-Held Tester (HHT) to data link connector (DTC readout) (X11/4) in accordance with connecting diagram.
2. Ignition: ON 
3. Read out fault memory and actual values in ultrasonic PTS control module (N62).
4. Carry out actuations with HHT.
5. Ignition: OFF 
6. After repairing the PTS, read out fault memory and read out again after 20 seconds.

The fault code cannot be read out with the pulse counter.

Carry out the whole of Parktronic system (PTS) testing electrical system, if no fault is stored in the event of a complaint.

When the ultrasonic PTS control module (PTS, N62)  is replaced the control module must be coded with the Hand-Held Tester. Follow the instructions in the HHT display.

Only the Fluke 23DB, 83 or 88 Multimeter can be used for testing as these multimeters have an analog bar display!
