Connecting/routing connection wiring harness of interior motion sensor - AN80.50-P-0100-02A

Model 210.0/6 as of 01.03.97 with code 551a (ATA), installed at factory

  1. Remove 18-pin connector for ATA/TS wiring harness from PSE control module (combined) (A37)
  2. Connect leads (1 and 2) for IMS connection wiring harness to 18-pin connector:
    • Connect yellow (ge)lead (1)to connector location 1
    • Connect blue (bl)lead (3)to connector location 13

      IMPORTANT The figure shows the assignment for the 18-pin connector from the connector side.

  3. Route IMS connection wiring harness with 4-pin connector (4) to upper roof area along C-pillar and route to installation location for interior motion sensor transmitter and receiver (A26/14).

    IMPORTANT Connect connection wiring harness to present leads and wiring harnesses. Avoid chafing points, if necessary install chafe guard. Fasten connection wiring harness in roof area with tape.

  4. Unclip fuse block B from rear fuse box (F4).
  5. Connect IMS connection wiring harness to fuse block B:
    • Connect red/blue (rt/bl)lead (3)to plug location A of fuse (F4f11).
