Retrofitting global positioning system (GPS) antenna - AN82.61-P-7474-04H

Model 210.0 

  1. Mark dimension (h = 100 mm) (from center high-mounted stop lamp) in center of rear shelf (in installed state) for antenna hole (21).

  2. Mark dimension x = 15 mm from antenna hole (21) for antenna cable hole (b).
  3. Expand antenna hole (21) to 15 mm dia. with right angle drill.
  4. Drill antenna cable hole (b) with 6 mm dia. bit.
  5. Cut out antenna base plate (23) from sheet metal panel (approx. 1 mm thick) with size of approx. 100 cm2 and adapt to antenna hole pattern.

  6. Slide antenna base plate (23) below rear shelf from trunk.
  7. Screw antenna (20) onto rear shelf together with antenna base plate (23).
  8. Connect antenna extension wire (11) and glue connector (24) below rear shelf with felt (26).

  9. Route antenna extension wire (11) to navigation processor (A2/30) as shown in figure and fasten with felt strips (26).

    IMPORTANT Tie back excessive length below rear shelf.
