Active Service System (ASSYST) 

• Activate display for remaining distance or remaining operating time:

  Move starter switch into position "2" and press reset button for trip odometer twice within 1 second: The tool symbol appears and the current remaining distance or remaining operating time appears for 10 seconds.

• Activate display for oil level (vehicles with engines M112, M113, M166, M611, M668) : 

  Move starter switch into position "2" and wait for 10 seconds until the oil can symbol and the text "interrogate oil level" appears. Press reset button for trip odometer twice within 1 second: If there is a shortage of engine oil, shortage of oil appears in the display if the waiting time is observed.

Diagnosis 

Diagnosis and coding is performed with the HHT.
