Test 6: Can "L" Data Line, Motor Electronics Activation

(OPEN CIRCUIT)

Disconnect ignition lock control module connector "C". Disconnect engine control module connectors. Measure resistance between appropriate ECM connector terminal and terminal No. 2 at ignition lock control module connector "C". See CAN "L" DATA LINE RESISTANCE  table. Resistance should be less than one ohm. If resistance is as specified, motor electronics activation data line is okay at this time. If resistance is not as specified, repair wiring. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
