Removing and installing exterior door handle on front door - AR72.10-P-2400K

	Removal, installation
1	Pull rubber door seal (9) out of channel in area of door lock
2	Loosen screw (7), pull door handle (2) outward against stop and hold in place Retighten screw (7) lightly with the door handle in this position (4 mm Allen wrench).	Left front door:  right-hand thread Right front door:  left-hand thread This step moves the release lever on the door lock to the "installation position"  . Installation:  When loosening and tightening the screw (7) do not actuate or hold door handle (2)
3	Unscrew screw (5) (4 mm Allen wrench)	Screw (5) is secured against falling out	*BA72.10-P-1009-01A
4	Remove lock cylinder guide (1)
5	Disconnect infrared receiver (8) at separation point and unclip lock cylinder guide (1)	Installation:  Route wiring harness for infrared receiver (8) separation point upward
6	Slide door handle (2) toward rear (arrow) and remove
7	Reinstall in opposite order
8	Check door lock release for proper function by closing rotary tumbler on door lock with suitable tool and actuating door handle (2)
9	Check for proper function
