Leave soft top bow and soft top compartment lid in upright position |

Unscrew mounting screws (1) from main bearing |
Previously mark soft top main bearing on mounting plate to facilitate installation. |

Expose hydraulic lines |
If necessary, detach cable strap and electrical lines to prevent lines from damaging. |

Lift soft top until hydraulic cylinder is accessible |

Remove fastening bolt (2) |
Turn locking plate 90°, then pull fastening bolt (2) out of hole. |

| 7 |
Remove circlip from upper fastening bolt (3) and pull cylinder upward out of main bearing. |
Installation:
Install shim below circlip. |

Unclip soft top bow "down/up" limit switch (S84/15) from hydraulic cylinder. |
Limit switch is located only on the left side of the vehicle. |

Press hydraulic cylinder (4) together |
|
|
| 10 |
Push back retainers (5) and pull out hydraulic lines (6). |
Immediately plug hydraulic lines with stop plug
and connectors on hydraulic cylinder with blind plug 
. |
