Bleeding Procedure
NOTE:
Letters and numbers in parenthesis correspond to letters and numbers in illustrations.
- Raise and support vehicle. Remove wheels.
- Connect pressure bleeder. See Fig 1 . Bleeding pressure should be set at 29 psi (2 bar). Following bleeding sequence, open bleed screws on calipers allowing fluid to flow out until it is free of bubbles. See BLEEDING SEQUENCE . With assistance of a helper, higher pressure bleeding can be achieved by pressing brake pedal.
- After bleeding each caliper, close bleed screws to torque specification and check fluid level in master cylinder, top off fluid level as necessary. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
