42 114 36 Friction vibrations. IMPORTANT We have noted that in addition to the brake pads the brake discs are also replaced within the scope of warranty/goodwill work when complaints are received regarding brake squeal.
Replacing the brake discs as a remedial measure generally does not solve the problem. Therefore we request you not to replace the discs.
IMPORTANT If a complaint is received regarding brake squeal after replacing the brake linings during the maintenance service, it is necessary to brake in the new brake linings so that they adapt to the surface structure of the used brake disc.
