The following components are integrated into the rear window antenna amplifier module (A2/12)  (see block diagram):

The processed signals are transferred to the corresponding control modules via the coaxial connection sockets 

Connecting antennas 

Between the rear window antennas and the rear window antenna amplifier module (A2/12)  a silicon material with extremely good conductive properties is used for electrical contact. The silicon material is pressed against the silver surfaces of the antennas by spring force.

The rear window is always equipped with all antennas regardless of the special equipment installed. However, there are differences in the national versions of the rear window antenna amplifier module (A2/12)  (JAPAN ONLY , USA ONLY ,...) and the TV option.

On model 220 the rear window antenna amplifier module (A2/12)  version also depends on the rear window glass (infrared protection or green glass).

NOTES Observe repair notes when installing and removing rear window.
