  1. Expose and cut out spot welds on underside of spot weld flange (area A).
  2. Expose and cut out spot welds (areas B - F).

  3. Remove longitudinal member.
  4. Grind connection surfaces to bare metal. Grind spot welding flanges down to bare metal on both sides.
  5. Remove grinding and drilling chips using wet/dry vacuum cleaner.
  6. Coat insides of spot welding flanges with zinc dust paint.
