Check Lining Thickness Of Brake Pads & Condition Of Brake Discs: Check
- 3 - Check thickness of brake pads (43) on front and rear axles. See Fig 1 . If the front or rear brake pads (43) are worn, replace the brake pads (43), in order to guarantee proper function. See BRAKE PADS (FRONT) and DISC BRAKE PADS (REAR) .

Inspect brake disks (61) for scores and cracks. Hairline cracks can occur due to high stress. Ventilated, perforated and non-perforated brake disks (61) do not have to be repaired if the hair crack length (1) is a maximum of 25 mm. With perforated brake disks the brake disks (61) the hairline length (1) including the hole diameter is to be measured (with gaping cracks and scores which are deeper than 0.5 mm, replace brake disks (61).
In order to guarantee proper function, remove/install brake disk. See BRAKE DISC (FRONT & REAR) .
