Sliding/pop-up roof lock-up recognition, function - GF77.20-P-3000PP

MODEL 203.0 /2 with CODE (414a) Electric glass sliding/pop-up roof

The overhead control panel control module (N70) receives voltage pulses from Hall sensor 1 (M12b1) and Hall sensor 2 (M12b2) located on the roof system switch (M12m1) and evaluates them for position measurement.

When the Hall sensor pulses are missing for longer than t = 0,2 s even though the sliding/pop-up roof is actuated, the roof system drive unit (M12) is switched off.

When the roof locks up in the pop-up mode it is also desynchronized. A mechanical thermal circuit breaker on the roof system motor (M12m1) will continue to provide overload protection.

When Hall sensor 1 (M12b1) and Hall sensor 2 (M12b2) fail it is still possible to close the sliding/pop-up roof in increments with the roof system switch (N70s1) in 160 ms increments or with the emergency crank.
