MODEL 203.7 with CODE (413) panoramic sliding roof

Direction recognition

Position measurement

The position counter in the overhead control panel control module (N70)  counts the Hall pulses, taking account of the recognized direction of rotation of the sun blind motor (M24m1)  . The count increases when the lift position reaches the panoramic sliding roof "open" position.

The count decreases when the panoramic sliding roof, and the roof lift position, close.

Zero position

The zero position is defined as the "panoramic sliding roof closed" position, i.e. the position counter is at zero.

The zero position is set by the

normalization function.

If the zero position is exceeded in the open direction, the count is positive.

Direction recognition

The shaft of the sun blind motor (M24m1)  is equipped with Hall sensor 1 (M24b1)  and Hall sensor 2 (M24b2)  .

They each supply one square-wave pulse for each rotation of the motor shaft.

The overhead control panel control module (N70)  reads these Hall pulses.

From the time difference between the pulses from Hall sensor 1 (M24 b1)  and Hall sensor 2 (M24 b2)  the overhead control panel control module (N70)  recognizes the direction of rotation of the motor.
