Sealing rear door liner - AF72.12-P-3100-01P

  1. Remove switch strip in door liner and seal air tight with cellophane tape (1).

  2. After installing switch strip, apply self-adhesive bonding foil over large surface of door liner in area of switch strip.

  3. Seal passage groove on door opening lever with foil seal.

    IMPORTANT Ensure that lever (arrow) remains free to move.

  4. Remove door handle and install piece of foam rubber (4) at bottom of door handle.

    IMPORTANT Position piece of foam rubber precisely with notch (see arrow).

  5. After removing the backing foil, glue piece of foam rubber so that openings are covered (see arrows).

    IMPORTANT When the handle is installed, the piece of foam rubber is pressed against the openings sealing them completely. The piece of foam rubber must be positioned and bonded precisely to ensure complete tightness.
