MODEL 203

Function requirements:

No overvoltage or undervoltage
C. 15 ON or C. 15R ON
Power windows in synchronized state (for automatic raising)
Function not disabled in variant coding
Correct rotation direction of power window motor and
Hall sensors not defective

Model 203.7 is not equipped with rear door control modules and power window motors.

Operation

The automatic raising/lowering function is performed by briefly pulling back or pushing forward a power window switch in the "close" or "open" direction beyond the first click-stop position.

Via corresponding:

Left front door control module (N69/1)
Right front door control module (N69/2)
Left rear door control module (N69/3) and or
Right rear door control module (N69/4)

the corresponding:

Left front power window motor (M10/3)
Right front power window motor (M10/4)
Left rear power window motor (M10/5) and or
Right rear power window motor (M10/6)

are actuated.

The actuation remains active until it recognizes via position recognition that the window is completely closed or opened.

Automatic raising

The "automatic raising" function effects automatic window raising with excess force limitation (pinch protection) and can only be performed on synchronized windows. As long as no other button signals are detected, the window will be completely closed to the upper end stop position.

If the system detects that the rotation direction of the power window motor is incorrect or that a Hall sensor is defective for 12 rotations of the armature, automatic raising is immediately aborted.

Upon detecting an "incorrect rotation direction" or "defective Hall sensor" fault, or a desynchronized window, the system will respond to any continued request for "automatic raising" by actuating the "manual raising" function.

If the system recognizes the "manual raising" button function after having recognized the "automatic raising" button function and without first having detected the neutral position, the "automatic raising" function remains active.

Function abort

The "automatic raising" function is interrupted if:

Function requirements are not satisfied
An obstruction is detected
Another switch position after neutral position is detected
There is a response from the excess force limiter (obstruction sensor)
Activation > 25 s and
Zero point tolerance exceeded

Automatic lowering

The "automatic lowering" button function effects automatic window lowering and can be performed without synchronization. As long as no other button signals are detected, the window will be fully lowered to the lower end stop position.

Function abort

The "automatic lowering" function is aborted if:

Function requirements are not satisfied
Another switch position after neutral position is detected
An obstruction is detected
activation > 25 s and
The maximum travel distance for synchronized windows is exceeded
