Rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module task - GF54.21-P-4115-03PP

General 

The rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2) is connected to the Controller Area Network bus class B (interior) (CANB).

It records sensor signals, fill levels and switch conditions and passes on this information via CAN-B.

Furthermore, semiconductor switches which are integrated in the rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2) and the relays of the fuse and relay blocks are actuated.

The following functions are carried out by the rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2) either alone or together with other systems:

Controlling 

• Emergency opening of doors (in case of a crash)
• Heated rear window (R1)
• Rear lighting system
• Retractable rear head restraints (only on model 203.0)
• Trunk emergency opening (only on model 203.0 and I)
• Anti-theft alarm system (ATA) (with code (551a) anti-theft alarm system (ATA))
• Automatic lamp substitution function
• Remote trunk lid release via the transmitter key (A8/1) (on model 203.0)
• Rear roller blind switch (only on model 203.0 with code (540a) electrical roller blind for rear window)
• Rear wiper (on model 203.2)

• Fuel level sensor, left half of tank (B4/1)
• Fuel level sensor, right half of tank (B4/2)
• Left front door contact switch (S17/3)
• Right front door contact switch (S17/4)
• Left rear door contact switch (S17/5) (not on model 203.7)
• Right rear door contact switch (S17/6) (not on model 203.7)

• Trunk lid rotary tumbler microswitch (S17/8)
• Trunk lid contact switch (S88/6) (up to 23.4.04)
• Trunk lid external operation switch (S88/8)
• Trunk lid emergency release switch (S88/10) (only on model 203.0 and )

  Vehicles with code (551a) anti-theft alarm system (ATA)
