Removing tailgate cover - AR72.20-P-3530-01PB

Risk of injury from slipping when clamping blade in the multicutter and from glass splinters when cutting out bonded windows. 

Always interrupt air supply when inserting or removing blade. 

Wear protective gloves and eye protection.

Number Designation
WH58.30-Z-1003-20A Multicutter
WH58.30-Z-1005-34A Saw blade, dia. 63 mm (pack of 2)
WH58.30-Z-1006-34A Screw (only required for multicutter)
  1. Mark separation lines at cover
  2. Saw auxiliary window (poly carbonate window) and tailgate cover along separating lines with cutting blade COMMERCIALLY AVAILABLE TOOLS .

    NOTES Do not exceed cutting depth of 5 mm. Use air extractor.

  3. Unscrew mounting screws (1) from cover.
  4. Remove cover from tailgate.

  5. Clamp angled blade into multicutter.
  6. Moisten whetstone and sharpen both sides of blade with machine switched on.
  7. Separate glue beads in area "A".
  8. Clamp straight blade into multicutter.
  9. Moisten whetstone and sharpen both sides of blade with machine switched on.
  10. Separate glue beads in areas "B" and "C".
  11. Remove cover residues and additional window from tailgate
