Preparing tailgate for installing cover - AR72.20-P-3530-04PB

  1. Cut remaining glue off of tailgate (1) flange with cutting blade SPECIAL TOOL

    IMPORTANT Not more than 0.5 mm should remain Pull off loose adhesive material (remaining pieces which are not fully cut off).

  2. Clean painted adhesive surface on flange with cleaning cloth from cleaning set and dry with drying cloth included in cleaning set.
  3. If remaining glue is damaged or missing on body flange apply synthetic resin primer in the area to be glued (max. width 20 mm).

    NOTES Allow primer to air-dry for at least 10 minutes.

  4. Repair paint damages on body flange not covered by the glue with primer pin.
  5. Glue on window rubber spacers (2).

    IMPORTANT Observe dimension "A".

    IMPORTANT When installing window the adhesive surfaces of the flange should be free of dust, oil, grease and wax and other cohesive components or dirt residues which decrease the adhesion.
