Function requirements:

• Circuit 15 ON

Function 

The roof system drive unit (M12) is a combined sliding and pop-up roof. The sliding roof opens to the rear. The pop-up roof opens upward at the rear. It is only possible to perform either the "Open/close sliding roof" function or the "Open/close pop-up roof" function. Operation is by means of the roof system switch (N70s1)N70 in the overhead control panel control module.

The roof system switch (N70s1) can be used to deploy the following functions:

• Manual sliding roof CLOSING is actuated with the command "Close sliding roof"
• Automatic sliding roof CLOSING is actuated with the command "Sliding roof one-touch down"
• Manually sliding roof OPENING is actuated by the command "Open sliding roof"
• Automatic sliding roof CLOSING can be actuated with the command "Sliding roof one-touch up"
• Manual CLOSING of the pop-up roof can be actuated with the command

  "Close pop-up roof"

• Automatically CLOSING the pop-up roof can be actuated with the command

  "Pop-up roof one-touch up"

• Manually OPENING the pop-up roof can be actuated with the command

  "Open pop-up roof"

• Automatic pop-up roof OPENING can be actuated with the command "Pop-up roof one-touch open"

The automatic feature allows the roof to be moved to the last position set (and stored) by momentarily actuating the switch.

The convenience feature with the subfunctions convenience closing and convenience opening opens and closes the sliding/pop-up roof when the "Lock" or "Unlock" button on the remote control key (A8/1) is pressed.
