Shown on model 203.0 

  1. Mark separation points on longitudinal member (areas D and E).
  2. Cut separation points with body saw (areas D and E).
  3. Expose spot welds (areas H and I).
  4. Cut out spot welds with SPECIAL TOOL spot weld milling cutter (areas H and I).
  5. Remove longitudinal member front section.

  6. Shown on model 203.0 

  7. Sand connection surfaces down to bare metal in the shaded areas.

    IMPORTANT Sand spot weld flanges down to bare metal on both sides.

  8. Remove grinding and drilling chips using wet/dry vacuum cleaner.
  9. Coat insides of spot weld flanges with zinc dust paint.
