1. Extend backup signal lead (2) from parts set by approx. 0.6 m using commercially available, 0.75 mm² wire.
2. Route backup signal lead (2) from radio shaft to shift gate.
3. Check gray/yellow lead (gr/ge) for backup lamp switch from standard wiring harness and expose.

   See wiring diagram for different color codes.

4. Solder backup signal lead (2) to gray/yellow wire (gr/ge) from standard wiring harness and insulate.

5. Insert free connector contact into backup signal lead (2) in radio connector (A) chamber 2.

6. Connect radio connector (A) and connector (C3) for GPS antenna with TrafficStar radio and navigation system.
7. Connect radio antenna.
8. Install TrafficStar (1) radio and navigation system.
