The hexagon on the connection of the brake hose on the brake pipe is not used anymore. There are now 2 elevations (arrow) on the connector which lock in the multi-tooth opening of the brake hose bracket. When tightened, the hose is prevented from turning by the brake hose bracket. When loosening, ensure that the brake hose bracket is not deformed.
The two versions are not interchangeable with each other .
