The satellite signals received by the GPS antenna (A2/23) are amplified by the integrated antenna amplifier.

The output signal is relayed to the GPS receiver by a coaxial antenna cable. The GPS receiver is integrated into the COMAND operating, display and control module (A40/3)  .

IMPORTANT The GPS antenna (A2/23) serves only for receiving GPS signals; signals are not transmitted.
