	Checking
	Risk of injury  to skin or eyes caused by hydraulic fluid spraying out under high pressure. Risk of poisoning  caused by swallowing hydraulic fluid.	Depressurize the hydraulic system completely before starting any work on the system. Wear protective clothing and safety glasses.	AS00.00-Z-0013-01A
	Before opening the hydraulic circuit of the power steering, thoroughly clean the surrounding area of the separation point. Even the smallest dirt particles introduced into the hydraulic components can lead to malfunctions and damage to the power steering
1	Check oil level in power steering expansion reservoir (30a); correct if necessary	The oil level must always be between the "MIN" and "MAX" marking on the power steering expansion reservoir (30a).

	Risk of accident  caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury  caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running Test run engine and check that steering is functioning correctly and is not leaking	Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.
