	Right side of engine
	Risk of explosion caused by oxyhydrogen gas. Risk of poisoning and caustic burns caused by swallowing battery acid. Risk of injury caused by burns to skin and eyes from battery acid or when handling damaged lead-acid batteries	No fire, sparks, open flames or smoking. 1	Disconnect/connect battery's ground cable	Battery on right-hand side in trunk below floor covering Installation: After connecting, read fault memory, encode radio and normalize power windows. Vehicles with stationary heater: adjust time display on stationary heater.	AR54.10-P-0003I
2	Remove lower engine compartment paneling		AR61.20-P-1105M
3	Remove air filter		AR09.10-P-1050L
4	Separate connectors of lambda sensors	Cylinders 1-6	AR14.00-P-5303L
5	Remove front exhaust system	Right side of engine	AR49.10-P-5531L
6	Unscrew both bolts (5) of right and left engine mounts (6/7) at front axle carrier (8)		*BA22.10-P-1001-01L
7	Unbolt right engine mount (6) from right engine support (9)	Installation: The anti-twist lock at the engine mount (6) must latch in the retaining groove in the engine support (9).
		Dispose of engine mount at scrap yard.

8	Raise engine	Ensure that rear of engine does not touch body.	AR01.10-P-7500-03I
9	Take right engine mount (6) down and out
10	Unbolt right engine support (9) from crankcase	Bolts must be used only once.

11	Disconnect connectors for lambda sensors	Cylinders 7-12	AR14.00-P-5303L
12	Remove front exhaust system	Left side of engine	AR49.10-P-5531L
13	Unscrew both bolts (5) of right and left engine mounts (6/7) at front axle carrier (8)		*BA22.10-P-1001-01L
14	Unbolt left engine mount (7) from left engine support (10)	Installation: The anti-twist lock at engine mount (7) must latch in retaining groove in engine support (10).
		Dispose of engine mount at scrap yard.

15	Raise engine	Ensure that rear of engine does not touch the body.	AR01.10-P-7500-03I
16	Remove front exhaust manifold		AR14.10-P-3915L
17	Remove refrigerant compressor		AR83.55-P-5300M
18	Unbolt left engine support (10) at crankcase and lift up and out	Bolts must be used only once.

19	Install in the reverse order
