Removal & Installation (CL Class)
- Fold back trunk cover to access battery. Connect quiescent current retention unit across battery terminals. Disconnect negative battery cable. Turn headlight switch to low beam position and pull out one detent (fog light switched on).
- Push extractor hook in area of low beam symbol and side light symbol between rotary light switch and light module cover. Turn extractor hook 90 degrees and pull out light module cover. Remove screws, press clips and remove light module. Disconnect electrical connector.
- To install, reverse removal procedure. If power supply was interrupted during procedure, it will be necessary to code radio, set clock, reactivate steering angle sensor, synchronize power window, synchronize sliding/pop-up roof and synchronize jacket tube module.
