Indicator light comes on when ignition is turned on, and goes out when engine is started. If indicator light dos not go out after starting engine, or comes on while driving, there is a failure in the parking light, taillight, stop light or low beam headlight. If one of the listed lights fails, the indicator light will come on only when that light is switched on. If a brake light fails, the indicator light will come on when applying brakes and stay on until engine is turned off.
