Checking charge time of motor-and-pump assembly - AR42.50-P-0001-06MB

The ignition must be switched off.

1. Release pressure from booster circuit (depress brake pedal approximately 30 times).
2. Switch on the ignition and monitor the period that elapses until the motor-and-pump assembly is deactivated.

   Time between 40 and 70 s: System OK.

   Time > 70 s: Motor-and-pump assembly defective.

   Time < 40 s: Brake booster hydraulic unit is defective.

3. Switch off ignition.
