If the control lever is damaged, release the ball neck - AR31.11-P-8000-03M

Shown on model 211.2 

  1. Remove cable (2) from the cable guide (4) on the trailer connection unit control panel (A63/1) and unhook cable end stop (3) from the cutout (see arrow) of the trailer connection unit control panel (A63/1).

    IMPORTANT If the cable (2) is defective (cracked) (2) a new trailer hitch crossmember must be installed. The cable (2) cannot be replaced individually.

  2. Place the cable (2) in the groove of the release device (1).
  3. Screw on the release device (1) until the ball neck releases.

    IMPORTANT After releasing the ball neck do not continue screwing on the release device (1) otherwise the cable cracks.

    IMPORTANT When working with the release device (1) avoid damage to the plastic core on the cable.
