| 1 | Move selector lever to position "D" | ||

| 5 | Remove screws (4) from ashtray housing opening | ||
| 6 | Unclip cover (5) from stowage compartment opener/closer | ||
| 7 | Unscrew screws (6) | ||
| 8 | Fold back front left and front right floor covering on side below instrument panel until screws (7) are accessible | ||
| 9 | Unscrew screws (7) | ||
| 10 | Lift cover (8) on rear center console (9) and move out from center console with both guides (arrows) at front | ||
| 11 | Disconnect connectors | ||
| 12 | Remove upper control panel control module (N72/1) | AR54.21-P-1262N | |
| 13 | Remove AAC push-button control module (N19) | AR83.40-P-6350M | |
| 14.1 | Remove radio | R82.60-P-7502N | |
| 14.2 | Remove COMAND operating and display system | AR82.85-P-7472N | |
| 15.1 | Remove stowage compartment (10) | ||
| 16 | Install in opposite order |
