Retrofitting handset - AZ82.70-P-0001-09IA

Illustrated on center console, model 220 

  1. Remove rear compartment nozzle cover (13), rear compartment nozzle (12), cover (10) and armrest from center console (9).
  2. Clip in connector for wiring harness (1) consisting of data lead (1/1) and antenna lead (1/2) on cover (10).
  3. Connect adapter cable (2) to data lead (1/1), insert into right hinge (11) and guide to armrest (14) stowage compartment.
  4. Remove prepunched cover for wire passage (15) from armrest stowage compartment (14) and clip connector for adapter cable (2) in on stowage compartment.
  5. Drill holes for screws (12) at marked points in bottom of stowage compartment.
  6. Insert spiral spring (4) into handset mount (5).
  7. Install handset mount (5) onto adapter plate (6) with screws (11).
  8. Connect CTEL handset (A34) to handset mount (5).

    IMPORTANT Slide approx. 18 coils of the spiral cable over the spiral spring and hook spring onto cable.

  9. Connect adapter cable (3) on handset mount (5) and connect on wire passage (15) with adapter cable (2).
  10. Install adapter plate (6) in stowage compartment with screws (12).
