  Draining
DANGER Risk of poisoning  caused by swallowing the TIREFIT emulsion. Risk of injury  caused by skin contact and eye contact with the TIREFIT emulsion. Risk of fire  caused by ignition of the TIREFIT emulsion Do not swallow or come into contact with the TIREFIT tire sealant, which is an emulsion of rubber and terpene phenolic resin. No open fire or open light sources. AS40.10-Z-0001-01A

2 Put tire down with valve facing upwards IMPORTANT In order to prevent TIREFIT tire sealant (3) spraying out when unscrewing the valve element.
IMPORTANT TIREFIT tire sealant AH40.10-P-0001-01A
3 Unscrew valve element from valve and release pressure from the wheel
4.1 Unscrew union nut of the valve body and press the valve body into the wheel With tire pressure monitor, code 475
4.2 Pull valve out of the disk wheel Without tire pressure monitor
NOTES Do not damage surface of the disk wheel.
IMPORTANT Push the valve debris remaining in the valve bore of the disk wheel into the inside of the wheel.

5 Wheel with valve bore pointing downwards upright for 10 minutes and put down raised slightly IMPORTANT Raise the wheel in order to make it easier to suction off the TIREFIT tire sealant (3).
6 Attach hose (2) to empty tire sealant container (1) IMPORTANT Replace the original hose of the tire sealant container (1) with a hose (2) 400 mm long.
7 Compress the tire sealant container (1) and immerse hose (2) through the valve bore of the disk wheel into the TIREFIT tire sealant (3)
8 Reduce pressure on the tire sealant container (1) and suction off TIREFIT tire sealant (3) IMPORTANT Position tire sealant container (1) under the wheel in order to make it easier to suction off the TIREFIT tire sealant (3).
Approx 90 % of the TIREFIT tire sealant (3) is removed.

9.1 Bore the tire tread with a spiral drill (10 mm dia.) and allow TIREFIT tire sealant (3) to flow into a suitable container If an empty tire sealant container (1) is not available
CLEAN Clean
10 Clean disk wheel IMPORTANT Remove the remains of the TIREFIT tire sealant (3) using a damp cloth
11.1 Replace TPM wheel sensor With tire pressure monitor code 475 (Beru system only)
IMPORTANT In the process observe tightening torques for different gasket versions, see: ↓
