COMPLAINT
Vibration or noise from the front or rear axle when braking.
CAUSE
Corrosion/rust on brake discs. See attached images "Brake Disc Rust or Brake Pad Outline".
NOTE:
An outline of the brake pad may be present on the disc which can indicate that the vehicle may have been parked for an extended time without movement. See attached image "Brake Pad Outline".
NOTE:
Corrosion/rust and/or a brake pad outline may still be present on the brake disc mating surface after driving the vehicle. See attached image "Brake Disc Rust and Pad Outline After Driving".
