2	Activation of the engine diagnosis indicator lamp (EURO3/4) or CHECK ENGINE (MIL) malfunction indicator lamp	Following two successive driving cycles with faults

4	Checked signal or status	Current at actuator motor
5	Fault setting conditions	Current at actuator motor greater than approx. 6 A for longer than 0.5 s (equal to 100 % duty cycle).
6	Check prerequisites	Intake air temperature greater than 0 °C The lower and upper stop taught in (throttle valve position known) Throttle valve actuator return spring not broken.
7		In the event of a fault, safety fuel shutoff and actuator emergency mode (mechanical emergency mode stop) are set (throttle valve actuator deenergized).
