	Actuation of the engine diagnosis indicator lamp (EURO3/4) or CHECK ENGINE (MIL) malfunction indicator lamp	After one driving-cycle with a fault
3	Checking frequency	Continuous
4	Checked signal or status	Signal from crankshaft position sensor (counting the teeth on the flywheel)
5	Fault setting conditions	Fault if when counting the teeth on the flywheel the limit value
	Checking duration	(60-2 teeth) of ± 1 teeth is exceeded. approx. 5 seconds
6	Check prerequisites	synchronization takes place no fault in the camshaft Hall sensor
7		Further causes of a fault can be: sensor wheel on flywheel damaged, flywheel has radial runout, tooth offset too large, crankshaft position sensor loose and electrical disturbances due to a damaged cable or loose contact.
