5		Faults are detected by the ETC control unit and sent via the CAN data bus to the ME-SFI engine control unit. Fault storage and actuation of the CHECK ENGINE (MIL) indicator lamp is carried out by the ME-SFI control unit. Also read out ETC fault memory.
