| 7 | Check procedure | After each shift operation the shift pressure is reduced slowly. If shift elements drag as the pressure drops, the command valve jams in the pressure position. Dragging shift elements are detected by the respective gear ratio. |
| 8 | The gear ratios are calculated from the following variables: speed signal n2, speed signal n3 and output shaft speed (determined via rear wheel speed). Faults are detected by the ETC control unit and sent via the CAN data bus to the ME-SFI engine control unit. Fault storage and actuation of the CHECK ENGINE (MIL) indicator lamp is carried out by the ME-SFI control unit. Also read out ETC fault memory. |
