Retrofit underride guard on brush guard - AN88.30-P-0003-01A

Model 163.113/128 /136 /154 / 157 /172 /175 except Styling package, code U49 and Parktronic system (PTS), code 220a 

TORQUE SPECIFICATION Detachable body components, underride guard

  1. Fasten front part of underride guard (1) with attached bolts M8X20 (12)and shims ø 16X8.4X1.6 (13) to brush guard (22). TORQUE SPECIFICATION
  2. Insert brush guard together with front part of underride guard in front bumper and align.

    NOTES When inserting the brush guard ensure that the paintwork of the front bumper is not damaged.

  3. Check distance (c) between front part of underride guard and front bumper.

    IMPORTANT The distance (c) must  be at least 6 mm.

    IMPORTANTOnly if the distance (c) between front part of underride guard and front bumper is less than 6 mm and simultaneously VIN up to A289564, X754619 is present, the spacers (19) must be screwed on the threaded rods of the brush guard (22). 

  4. Extend brush guard with front part of underride guard out of front bumper and place to the side.

    NOTES Make sure that polished or coated surfaces are not scratched or damaged.
